Mangosteen Resort near Nai Harn Beach

This is a nice shot from a sunset in Nai Harn which I took on one "of these Sundays". You can have this nearly every day! From the Mangosteen Boutique Resort and Spa, we are operating a free shuttle bus to Nai Harn Beach every hour. Enjoy the sunset and return to the resort with the last bus around 7 pm. The water is clear and around 30 degree warm.

Elephant trekking in Phuket

If you would like to try Elephant trekking, stay at The Mangosteen Boutique Resort and Spa! You will get there in just 5 minutes. This picture has been taken in a camp very close to the resort. Here in Phuket, elephant riding has become very popular. There are about 120 elephants on the Island. It's great fun and if you try the first time, you won't forget the experience.

Phuket Horse Riding on the beach

Just 3 minutes away from The Mangosteen Boutique Resort and Spa, you can get a horse and take it to the beach! I took this picture 2 weeks ago when the children went riding. The Mangosteen Resort is the perfect secluded hillside resort and starting point for many interesting excursions.

Day Trip to Coral Island

From The Mangosteen Boutique Resort and Spa, you need just 20 minutes by longtail boat from Rawai Beach to go to one of Phuket's best places to snorkel. Coral Island's Banana Bay has an absolutley beautiful coral right in front of the beach! Great place for a quiet and relaxing day. We have been there last Sunday with the family, so you see even for long time residents, this is still a very nice thing to do. By the way, there are many hornbills on the Island and you can watch them from the beach. Snorkeling equipment can be borrowed from the local restaurant.
